Stable Cottage is a detached 17th Century stone barn conversion located in the hamlet of Bournes Green near the village of Oakridge, surrounded by grassy banks and woodland. The cottage, adjacent to a listed Jacobean farmhouse, has its own private garden and pond. The heated outdoor swimming pool is 50 yards from the cottage in a secluded walled garden. There is a comfortable conservatory and oil-fired central heating for the cooler months. The cottage is just a mile from a village shop and several good pubs. The location is ideal for exploring the Southern Cotswolds on foot or by car including historic sites and sporting facilities such as horse riding and golf (in nearby Minchinhampton).

Accommodation
The living room, with a wood-burning stove and a colour TV and DVD player, opens onto a conservatory and a well equipped kitchen. Also on the ground floor, off the kitchen, is a small utility area and the bathroom which has a shower over the bath.
An open staircase from the living room leads to a double bedroom through which is the access to the twin bedroom.
The steps up to the front door and down to the kitchen mean that the cottage is not ideal for anyone who is severely handicapped.
The heated outdoor swimming pool is available in July and August (occasionally used by the owners). Outside these two months the pool can be heated on request at a price negotiable and payable on arrival. Normal safety precautions apply and, in particular, children using the pool must be supervised by an adult. Extra bathing towels are provided.
